Although this past glitter and genius is no longer there, it is still standing as a witness in time. It was used as a subdivision. It was a rectangular building. Some parts of the building still survive. An inscription from Katra shows that in the order of Shah Jahan's second son Shah Shuja, Dewan Abul Kashem built this palace in 1644 AD. There were 22 shops in this plot. The money received from the shop was used for repairing the Katra. Some money was donated to the poor. The front door of Katra was towards the south.
